The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department will be having a job fair on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 2 pm at the sheriff’s department.

The department is currently looking for males and female to work in corrections.

Individuals must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED equivalent, birth certificate, and military discharge papers if applicable, clean criminal history, and pass a background check.

Potential applicants will be called in for an interview. Applications can be obtained at the jail.

Prior to employment applicants will be required to complete 24 hours of job shadowing, pass a physiological exam, and pass a physical.
