A Prospect man is facing multiple drug charges after an arrest Saturday by the Giles County Sheriff's Department.

Deputy Randall Boaz arrested Robert Zachary Thompson, 30, and charged him with assault, Violation of Probation in Circuit Court, evading arrest, two counts of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, Manufacture, Delivery, Sale or possession of methamphetamines, and prohibited weapons.

Thompson is being held in the Giles County Jail on bonds totaling $24,000.

He is to answer all drug charges April 15 at 8:30 a.m.  in General Sessions Court  and will appear in Circuit Court May 13 on violation of probation.
