In a short 12 minute meeting Tuesday the Pulaski Board of Mayor and Alderman included a response from Kelly Hamlin concerning the North End Neighborhood Improvements. She thanked the board members who attended a recent meeting and gave 5 main concerns of businesses and residence of the North End area.

The first was the drainage problem from the 400 block all the way to Cave Springs, with heavy rain flooding occurs.

The next was the ongoing sidewalk repair and beautification Improvement in the area.  They would like to continue this progress up to the Highway 31-A intersection.

In attendance at their last meeting was Police Chief John Dickey. Hamlin expressed that a continued relationship with the Police Department is essential.

An increased use of the W.D. Savage Park for events is also a suggested improvement.

Bids were opened for two trucks to be purchased for use at the Waste Water Treatment Plant and one for the Gas Department.

Sharp Motor Company of Pulaski, submitted the lowest bid out of two others for the 1500 Ram Quad Cab trucks, at a cost of $22,976 for each truck.
