Richard “Rickey” Cheatham died August 21st, 2023, at his home. He was 59 years. He was the Co-Owner of R.E.C Excavating and Co-founder of Southern Touch Band. He also worked with RJ Watkins & Sons and B&A Farms.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 24th, 2023 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral
Home and Crematory.

Services will be Friday, August 25th, 2023, at 1:30 pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home
and Crematory.

Burial will the in Minor Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include His wife, Teresa Cheatham of Goodsprings; Sister, Stephanie, and husband, John Ronquillo of Kimball; Brothers, Mickey and wife Judy Cheatham of Goodsprings, Brandon and wife Amanda Ervin of Goodsprings, Randy, and wife Hannah Ervin of Minor Hill; several other family members and friends also survive.

Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements for Richard “Rickey” Cheatham.
