The Loretto Police Department has a former president of a Tennessee Football Program accused of statutory rape in custody.

The Loretto Police Department was searching for 43-year-old Jason Cromwell after receiving information about a rape involving Cromwell and a 14-year-old girl.

Detectives were able to get an indictment for Cromwell following an investigation and with the help of the district attorney and the Kentucky State Police.

Cromwell was arrested Friday and has been indicted on the charge of aggravated statutory rape, according to authorities. He has been removed from his role with the football program.
