Evelyn Faye McCormick Hamlett, age 85, of LaVergne, Tennessee, died August 12th, 2023. She was born in Lynnville. She was a member of LaVergne Church of Christ and retired from Lavergne Public Library

Survivors include a son, Timothy Hamlett and wife Lorie, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, sister, Martha McCormick Farrar, one niece, and 2 great-nephews.

Visitation will be at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna, Thursday, August 17th, 2023 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM.

Services will be at 6:00pm.

Graveside services will be Friday, August 18th, 2023, at Lynnwood Cemetery, Lynnville, at 11am.

Woodfin Chapel is in charge of the arrangements for Evelyn Faye McCormick Hamlett.
