George Wayne Jones. Jr. died August 3rd, 2023 at Maury Regional Medical Center Columbia. He was born in Nashville, and was 87 years old. He was a veteran of the US Army, a previous owner of a restaurant.

Visitation will be Monday, August 7th2nd, 2023 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.

Services will be Tuesday, August 8th, 2023 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Johnson officiating.

Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

Survivors include Daughters, Patsy Jones of Mount Pleasant, Stephanie and husband David Collins of Chapel Hill, Tammy Jones Guerrero of Nashville, Sister, Barbara Meinecke of Arizona, 1 Sister-in-law, 7 grandchildren along with numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive.
