Minister Dorothy Cheatham Britton, died on Sunday, July 9 at Southern Regional
Medical Center, Pulaski. She and her husband the late Rev. Billy Britton founded
The Way Ministries of Pulaski. She was also a registered nurse.
She is survived by sons: Cedric and wife Allison Myles, Roderick Myles, Eric
Britton, and Billy Britton 3 rd ., Nine Grandchildren, Three Great-Grandchildren,
Sisters: Shirley and husband Douglas Cox, Deborah Shorter, Lori and husband
Frank Gentry, Laronda Cheatham, Uncles: Andrew Lee and wife Pat Cheatham,
Aunts: Mildred Lisby, Clara Jean Lancaster, Alma Jewel Johnson, Brother in-law,
Sammy Britton, Sisters in-law, Linda Brown, Mary White, Jane Gilbert, and many
other relatives.
Visitation Saturday, July 15 th at 11:00 a.m. and service at 12:00 Noon at Temple of
Praise Church at 1030 Ragsdale Lane with burial in the Goodsprings Cemetery
The New Beginning Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Minister
Dorothy Cheatham Britton.
