Shirley Elizabeth Townsend, age 92 of Minor Hill, died Sunday December 19th at Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Pulaski. She was born in the Scotts Hill Community and a homemaker.

Visitation will be from 1-2 pm Wednesday December 22nd at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with Services to follow at 2pm.

Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Salem Cemetery Fund.

Survivors include her son Wilburn Townsend, Jr. and wife Mary of Salem, daughter Elizabeth Griffin and husband Phillip of Athens, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Carr & Erwin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Shirley Elizabeth Townsend.
