Robert “Bob” Bernard Wamble of Pulaski passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at the VA in Nashville.  He was born in Moultrie, GA on May 24, 1945 and was 74 years old.

He was a well-known Giles County Historian, a member of the Historical Society and on the Board of Directors. He was also an author and served in the US Army.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 1:00pm at Giles Memory Gardens. During these unprecedented times the family asks that everyone please respect social distancing and requests that attendees wear masks.

Memorial donations are asked to go to the Giles County Public Library or to the First United Methodist Church-Pulaski.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Covington and Elizabeth Williams Wamble.

He is survived by his,

Wife of 52 years, Linda Wamble of Pulaski, TN

Son, Bobby (Allyson) Wamble of Franklin, TN

Son, David (Meleah) Wamble of Pulaski, TN

Grandchildren, Anna, Caroline, Sarah, and Jack Wamble

Brother, Tom (Mary K) Wamble of Valdosta, GA

Brother, John (Diane) Wamble of Clarksville, TN

Several nieces and nephews also survive.
