Janice Lynn Cooper Vantrease died on Sunday April 5th in her home in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born in Lewisburg, Tennessee and graduated from Giles County High School. Janice graduated from Columbia State with her Nursing degree and was a nurse for 43 years, with the last 26 years spent at St. Thomas West.

Janice married Mike Vantrease in 1988, and they have two children, Anna and William and daughter in law Sarah. Janice was an active member of Crieve Hall Church of Christ for many years. Janice will be buried in a private graveside service in the family cemetery in Culleoka, Tennessee in Maury County. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Crieve Hall Church of Christ.
