Thomas Phillips of Prospect, TN passed away on Tuesday, April 07, 2020 at his residence. He was born on March 31, 1929 in Giles County and was 91 years old.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was a member of Thompson’s Chapel Church that of which he actually helped to build. He enjoyed going to horse races, working out in the yard and garden, and working on his farm and tending to his cattle.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest P. and Carol Donnie Poarch Phillips ,sons, Thomas Fagon Phillips and Steven Paul Phillips, grandsons, Jackie Rayford Holcomb, Jr. and David Russell Phillips, brothers and sisters, Myrtle Tucker, Walter Phillips, Grace Appleton, William Phillips, Edward Phillips, Mabelean Scott, Mattie Gatlin, Aaron Phillips, Louie Phillips, and Floyd Phillips.

Daughter-in-laws, Jill Young Phillips of Paragon, IN and Victoria Canada Phillips of Franklin, IN
