Sybil A. Clookie of Pulaski died August 23rd. She was born in New Hampshire and was 83 years old.

She served two enlistments in the U.S. Air Force stationed in Montgomery, Alabama, where she was a dental assistant. After her discharge, she worked as a dental assistant, in a dry cleaning business and later operating a restaurant and catering service in the North Alabama area. While living in Tennessee. she was active in the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home. A committal service will be held at Cottle Cemetery in Maine at a later date.

Memorial donations are suggested to the United Methodist Children's Home, 3140 Zelda Court, Suite 100, Montgomery. Alabama 36106-2607.

Survivors include nieces, nephews and friends.
