Dr. Richard “Dick” Clark Taylor died at his home in Lewisburg, Sunday at the age of  75.

He is survived by his wife Kelly Dean-Taylor of Lewisburg; one brother, Kent Taylor of Texas; three sisters, Twila McLaughlin of Arizona, Dee Taylor of Indiana, and Deb Guse of Colorado.

Dr. Taylor worked as an Orthopedic surgeon in Giles County for several years and retired in 2014.

Visitation will be held on Friday, from 4 pm until 7pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory with Brother Mark Johnson officiating and full military honors will follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests you help an animal in need by donating to rescues, fostering, or adopting the forgotten animals.
