Robert Lee Townsend, age 87, of Leoma, died Monday at NHC Healthcare of Pulaski. He was a native of Minor Hill, a farmer, retired teacher from Limestone County, attended Main Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Morris Townsend of Leoma, son, Bobby Townsend of Pulaski, daughter, Cathy Laxson of Pulaski, 6 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM this evening (Thursday) at Neal Funeral Home.

Services will be at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM tomorrow (Friday) with Thomas Mattox officiating.

Burial will be in Center Point Methodist Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN with military honors. Family suggests memorials be made to Center Point Methodist Cemetery Fund.
