A call Monday to 911 reported a strong smell of propane in the Campbellsville Road area around the 18 mile marker. Giles County Fire and Rescue along with a crew from Chiles Propane responded.

Fire and Rescue Chief Corey Medley said after an investigation, nothing was found to be wrong.

Employee Robert Morgan said Chiles Propane has customers in that area and it could have been a truck had filled a tank, with the smell coming from that.
