Open enrollment for Affordable Care Act Marketplace insurance plans began November 1st and working families are now trying to find the plans that are right for them.

Consumers who purchase health insurance through the Marketplace must enroll by December 15th for coverage to take effect on Jannuary 1st, 2022.

Insurance experts say that it‘s important that consumers understand they must select a plan that covers their county of residence and must ensure their providers participate in the plan.
