Homeroom with the highest overall attendance rate in December at Richland School is Amanda Gordon’s sixth grade class.

Richland School’s Raiders Make Everyday Count positive attendance initiative promotes positive attendance with the goal of increasing the school’s attendance rate and decreasing the chronic absenteeism rate.

Research has shown that regular school attendance correlates directly with a student’s success in academic schoolwork and career success.

It also improves social interaction with both adults and peers and allows teachers and students to communicate frequently.
