The Smithsonian’s Museum on Main Street, in cooperation with Humanities Tennessee, presents “Crossroads: Change in Rural America.”

The exhibition examining the evolving landscape of rural American opens at the Barton Art Gallery in the Gault Fine Arts Center at Martin Methodist College on February 5th.

“Crossroads” will be on view through March 15. Visitors are welcome to enjoy this free exhibition during walk-in hours from 10 a.m. to 5pm on Thursdays and Saturdays and from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Fridays. Groups are encouraged to book a visit in advance for any day of the week.

Wolf Gap Education Outreach, Martin Methodist College and the surrounding community have been chosen by Humanities Tennessee to host “Crossroads” as part of the Museum on Main Street program — a national/state/local partnership to bring exhibitions and programs to rural cultural organizations.

The exhibition is part of Museum on Main Street, a unique collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service (SITES), state humanities councils across the nation and local host institutions.
