The Tennessee Highway patrol has announced their roadside safety checkpoints for February.

Checkpoints will in the following counties during the month:

Lewis and Giles counties on February 2nd; Lawrence and Maury counties on February 14th; Bedford, Hickman, Lincoln, Marshall and Maury counties on February 21st and Hickman and Marshall counties on February 28th.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol recognizes that checkpoints such as these are highly visible and effective tools in enforcing laws and ensuring the protection of vehicle occupants.
