Energy Systems Group and Acting Director's contract will be discussed during the Giles County School Board work session Thursday at the Central Office.

The Giles County Commission’s Schools Committee approved a recommendation from County Executive Melissa Greene this week to ask the school board to get a second proposal after ESG presented a renovation plan for all schools.

Representatives from ESG explained in an earlier meeting the work to be done is replacing 70 percent of the heating and cooling in Giles County schools. 

The board recently approved a two-phase school renovation proposal that was sent to the county commission’s schools committee.

Board members will also discuss Giles Co. Internal School Funds, Coaches Descriptions, 2020-2021 School Calendar, and Transportation Bids during the 5 p.m. meeting.

The next regular board meeting will be February 6th at the Central Office.
