The Tennessee wildlife resources agency’s winter trout stocking program resumed as the New Year began and will continue at selected locations through the middle of March.

The 2019-2020 program, which began in December, will provide numerous close to home trout fishing opportunities for anglers during the winter months and can provide a great opportunity to introduce children or first-time anglers to fishing.

A trout license is needed in addition to the fishing license.

The Big Rock Greenway in Lewisburg is scheduled to be stocked on Thursday, January 16th, and Woodland Park pond in Columbia on Friday January 17th.
