A Lawrence County man was taken into custody for an arrest warrant last week and now faces additional charges.

According to reports, deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department responded to a residence on Park Ridge Road to locate 29 year old Trent Channey Osborn.

Upon arrival deputies located Osborn and while patting him down allegedly found a butane torch and approximately .73 grams of a white crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine.

A female at the residence, identified as Hannah Patterson, gave consent to the deputies to search the property which yielded digital scales, two tooter straws, approximately 1.7 grams of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana and two marijuana roaches.

Patterson appeared to be under the influence of drugs and was also taken into custody. Children who were present at the home were released to family members.

In addition to probation violation, Osborn faces charges possession of methamphetamine, possession of schedule 6 marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia along with child neglect.

Patterson also faces charges of child neglect.

Both were transported to the Lawrence County Jail.
