At eight pounds, three ounces and 20 inches long, baby girl Crystal Renae Metcalfe is Giles County's New Year Baby.

Crystal Renae was born January 2nd at 5:26 p.m. at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System.

The proud parents are Terrance and Gemille Metcalfe.

As Giles County's Baby New Year, the hospital has given the mother a gift of various baby items.

She was delivered by Dr. Cara Riley.
