The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Flood Warning for Giles County until tonight.

The first storm system of 2020 brought moderate to heavy rain to Giles County on Thursday and will continue throughout today (Friday) with rainfall totaling up to 4 inches expected.

The chance of rain today (Friday) is 70 percent tampering off to 50 percent tonight.

The Giles County Highway Department has closed Old Campbellsville and Minnow Branch roads due to flooding.

Heavy rainfall could lead to more flooding of roads, low lying areas, low water crossings, rivers, creeks and streams.
