Two day man hunt ended Thursday at 838 Ragsdale Lane in Pulaski with the capture of a local Narcotics Dealer.

The capture ended a month long search after officials conducted a dedicated search for Fredie Dean Houston, Jr. who was wanted on charges of Possession of Cocaine, Methamphetamine, and Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute.

Houston also had a misdemeanor warrant for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The search was led by the U.S. Marshals, Pulaski Police Department and the Giles County Sheriff’s Department.

Officials placed Houston, 34 of Pulaski, Tennessee, into custody without incident at 9:42am. Charges against Houston were stemmed from a search warrant executed by the Pulaski Police Department, Giles County Sheriff’s Department and the 22nd Judicial Drug Task Force.

Officials recovered a substantial amount of cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana from the residence. Houston was not present at the time of warrant execution.

At this time, Houston remains incarcerated in the Giles County Jail on a $306,000 bond awaiting his initial court appearance.

Giles County Sheriff Kyle Helton said he would like to thank the all officers involved for their hard work, determination and efforts regarding the apprehension of key player in the local drug trade. "Multiple agencies have put in many hours working together in regard to Houston and they deserve commendation. Our fight against illegal drug activity does not stop with this arrest, but shall continue with perseverance," the sheriff added.
