Tennessee Boating Exams may be taken during regular Main Branch hours at the Giles County Public Library. No appointment is necessary, but the exam must begin no later than one hour before closing.

Study manuals are free and available at the circulation desk. A Boat Safety Exam permit receipt from any business (license agent) that sells hunting and fishing licenses is required before the exam may be taken.
