Giles County dodged the first attempt from Ol’ Man Winter, County Road Superintendent Barry Hyatt says Giles County roads are in overall good shape, with a few slick spots, and some black ice, especially in Northern Giles County.

Bridges, and overpasses will freeze first, and the wind chill and temperature is still dropping, so use caution on your commute this morning.

A very light dusting of snow can be found in most of Giles County, but no significant accumulation has been reported in the County.
