We hope everyone in Giles County enjoyed a fabulous weekend, especially todays (Monday) pleasant warmth.

Looking for rain to develop on this Veteran’s Day as a cold front passes through Middle Tennessee.

The emphasis here is on "cold" because a lot of the moisture associated with this system, so temperatures will fall and rain may mix with or change to snow before ending.

While snow amounts are expected to remain below an inch in Giles County, the best accumulations will occur in the usual places Highland Rim & Cumberland Plateau.

The temperatures will drop behind today's (Monday) cold front on the order of 40 degrees or more. Highs today will reach the 60's with Tuesday morning readings dropping into the 20's and even some teens. Wind chill readings will be in the teens and single digits.

At some point, the rain is expected to transition to snow. A dusting up to an inch will be possible.

By daybreak, we will be in the 20s with wind chills in the teens.

Tuesday's highs will be in the upper 20s and low 30s.
