Several plea agreements were reached last week in Circuit Court.

David Ashley Kimbrough, 38, pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide, a class C felony that will carry jail time and probation, lose his driver license for three years and is charged with $2,000 to the Victim’s Compensation Fund and court costs.

Kimbrough also received a six-year sentence, which was suspended to 180 days with 15 years of supervised probation.

He was charged with vehicular homicide by intoxication, a class B felony, following the May 1, 2017, accident that killed Minor Hill teen Natalie Bostwick.

Bostwick, 17, at the time of the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene of the head-on collision on Highway 11 near the intersection of Racetrack Road. Kimbrough will report to the Giles County Jail Jan. 15, 2020.

In another plea, Alfonza Ferguson, 44, was placed on the Giles Court System’s radar after a shooting February 9th by Ferguson, that left one injured.

Ferguson was indicted with charges of attempted first degree murder and especially aggravated robbery, both being class A felonies.

Under the plea agreement, Ferguson pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, a class C felony, and no contest to the charge of Aggravated Robbery.

Ferguson received a sentence of 10 years with credit for time already served.
