The Tennessee Highway Patrol will conduct sobriety roadside safety checkpoints the week of November 8th  in Giles County on US 31A at mile marker 29.

Troopers will evaluate drivers for signs of alcohol or drug impairment and target those who operate a vehicle while impaired and take corrective actions for other violations observed.

THP reminds everyone that impaired driving is a serious crime that kills more than 16 thousand people and injures three hundred and five thousand others every year in the U.S.
