A single vehicle accident this morning (Thursday) sent a man to the local hospital.

According to reports the accident happened around 7:30 a.m. in a curve on Weakley Creek Road.

A witness said a Chevy S-10 overturned and the driver was having difficulty walking when attempting to exit the vehicle.

The driver was taken to Southern Tennessee Region Health System by EMS with injuries.

Name of driver and injuries were unknown.
