The Giles County School Board will meet Thursday for a regular monthly meeting.

Among items on the agenda includes discussing the contract for Acting Director of Schools Vickie Beard, Alternative Credit Options, Tire Bids, Coaching Supplements, Disposal of Assets at Southside and Consolidate Application Approval for IDEA/ESEA.

Other topics on the agenda to be discussed are Tobacco-Free Schools, Supervisor's reports, Assistant Director's report that includes project updates, and Director's Report with Personnel Report.

The board meeting is set for 5 p.m. in the Central Office boardroom and is open to the public.
