Maintenance and expenses for the Lynnville Water Department was increased in the proposed 2019-2020 budget.

The maintenance was increased from $11,133 to $15,000 during the recent board meeting.

Lynnville Mayor Phillip Vandiver told the board that maintenance is very important.

Also, during the meeting, a decision was not made on 3 bids for roof repairs to buildings on the square. Bids will be released to the insurance company before a board decision is made.

Suggestions on budget changes will be considered at the next meeting when the board votes on the 2019-2020 budget.
