Members of the Blanche Volunteer Fire Department are taking orders for half chickens, Boston butts, whole shoulders, ribs and BBQ by the pound, prior to the July 4th holiday.

Hickory smoked 'The Old Fashioned Way', cooking will begin Tuesday, July 2, at the Taft Fire Hall and Community Center where orders will be ready for pickup Wednesday, July 3, beginning at 5 p.m. and will conclude at 8 p.m.

Pre-orders are recommended to be sure your barbecue will be available. To pre-order call 931-425-9164 or cell 931-675-0522. Deadline for pre-orders is Thursday, June 27th.

All proceeds benefit the Blanche/Taft Fire Department.
