As of this morning (Wednesday), Minor Hill Police Chief Ted Burdette is searching for an Alabama man that left the scene before citations were issued after an accident Monday on Minor Hill Highway.

According to Burdette, Robin Pickett of Minor Hill, driver of a white GMC Yukon was preparing to turn when she was rear-ended by a Dodge pickup truck driven by an Alabama man.

Burdette said they are looking for the Alabama driver and when arrested he will be issued several citations that includes driving with wrong tag on vehicle plus no registration.

Minor Hill Volunteer Fire Department, Giles County’s Fire and Rescue, Sheriff’s Department and EMS aided at the scene.

No injuries were reported at the 4 p.m. accident.
