The Giles County Agri Park Committee has asked for more information about a health and wellness business.

Dee Ann Dean, a native of Giles County, approached the committee during a meeting April 26 about relocating her business vivealchemy.com from Knoxville to Dellrose.

She is a former basketball standout at Giles County High School and a graduate of Vanderbilt University, where she received an athletic scholarship.

Dean said she wants to return to Giles County and her mission is to reverse diet-related disease and sickness, improve community health and promote sustainable health systems, that revive intuition, aptitude, and health consciousness.

County Commissioner and committee member Judy Pruett said she thinks it is a good idea.

In discussion, the committee is asking for additional information about the business.
