Giles County EMS was called Thursday to an accident on  Interstate 65 during the heavy rain.

Two people were injured in the morning accident. One person was transported to a Huntsville Hospital and the second person to  Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Pulaski.

The ambulance service also responded to an accident around 3:30 p.m. on Highway 64 West, but no one was transported, said an EMS Paramedic.

Reports on both accidents were not available from the Tennessee High Patrol office.
