Four Richland High School softball players earned All-District 10- A during the district tournament.

They were Allison Abernathy, Lillie Greene, Brooklyn Reed, and  Deanna Smith.

Other players making the tournament team were Kennedy Chatman, Karley Harakas, Journey Mitchell, Karli Quillin from Columbia Academy;

Jada Bowen, Alex Skinner, Camryn Tullis, Kaitlyn Young of Culleoka;

Mt Pleasant Jada Bowen, Alex Skinner, Camryn Tullis, and Kaitlyn Young;

Santa Fe  Rachel Dodson,Lexi McEwen, Shelby Rector and Madelyn Woodard.

Most Valuable Pitcher was Averi Slaughter from  Santa Fe and  Brittany Adair from Columbia Academy was named Most Valuable Player of the tournament

The weather provided a near-perfect high school baseball setting for Columbia Academy trip to Richland Baseball Stadium Wednesday night where the Bulldogs topped the Raiders 11-0.

Raiders will travel in the Region, but time and team has not been announced.

Lady Raiders softball team also travels to the 9A Region tourney.
