Giles County parents and children can learn about camouflage and how animals use it to protect themselves during a free program at Natchez Trace Parkway Center.

The program is called Disappearing Act and will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 18 and will last approximately 45 minutes.

Visitors will join a park ranger to learn more about camouflage and see if they can make a creature disappear into the background using play-dough, feathers and beads.

The program is appropriate for children ages 7 to 12, but everyone is welcome. For more information call 1-800-305-7417.
