A  new $60.9 million dollar manufacturing facility continues to rise over the Cherry Glen Industrial Park in Mt. Pleasant.

Fuel Total Systems, is set to bring 150 new jobs to the region.

 It marks the largest addition to the Maury County-owned industrial complex, which recently broke ground on its first 50,000 square foot speculative facility

Fuel Total Systems is a major supplier to car manufacturer Toyota, fabricating fuel tanks and piping for the Corolla, Camry, Avalon and Lexus ES series. The company focuses on the development, design, manufacturing and sale of fuel tanks, as well as engine and hybrid parts.  FTS is based in Japan and also has operations in Kentucky.

The Mt. Pleasant facility will supply the new Toyota/Mazda plant in Huntsville. 

Initial construction for Fuel Total Systems is planned to be completed by fall.
