Work is progressing at the site of Southern Tennessee Higher Education Center in Lawrence County.

Classes from Columbia State, Tennessee Technological University, Middle Tennessee State University and Martin Methodist College will be taught in this new center.

Students will be able to earn an Associate degree from Columbia State, then a Bachelor's in the programs offered by the other institutions.

Classes are expected to begin in January 2020.
