A permit to allow temporary beer sales for the Warrior Dash at Milky Way Farms on May 4th was approved by the Giles County Beer Board.

According to Molly Chernick, a representative of Red Frog promoters, approximately 5,000 to 8,000 participants are expected to attend this event.

Red Frog is an event production company and also pioneer of the experiential entertainment industry. The  Warrior Dash obstacle race series at Milky Way is one event developed by the company.

Chernick said participants will get a free beer at the end of the course, with its 5K run, and the beverage will also be for sale.

Events such as the Warrior Dash have attracted at least 100,000 people to Milky Way and Giles County in the past three years, Giles County Chamber CEO Jessie Parker said recently.
