An Ardmore woman was arrested Wednesday and booked in the Giles County Jail on charges of underage driving while impaired.

Taylor Jade Lide, 18, was also charged with Failure to appear in General Sessions Court and Public Intoxication.

Bond for Lide is $2,500 and she is to appear in court on April 30 to answer all charges.

Also, Tennessee Highway Patrolman Ashton Cotner arrested Jason Samuel Spiller 37, of Vestavia, Alabama,  today during a routine stop and charged him with Driving Under the Influence.

Cotner was taken to the Giles County Jail and bond was set at $1,000 and he is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on April 30.
