A fugitive from justice was taken into custody over the weekend. According to reports, officers with the city of Lawrenceburg, were dispatched to a restaurant on North Locust Avenue Saturday to a report of a male subject harassing a female.

Officers arrived and approached the male who advised he thought the female was a bounty hunter, who was after him. The officers inquired as to why he thought. And the male advised he was wanted in Kentucky.

Jerry CD. Washington Jr. was then detained by officers. Upon checking, it was confirmed that he was wanted on gun charges, terroristic threats and receiving stolen property. Washington was placed under arrested and transported to jail, without incident.
