Christopher Sockwell was recently sworn in as Circuit Judge of the 22nd Judicial District which includes Giles, Wayne,  Lawrence, and Maury counties.

Judge Sockwell is one of four circuit judges in the 22nd Judicial District. The others are Stella Hargrove, J Russell Parkes and David Allen.

Sockwell succeeded Judge Robert L. Jones, who recently retired.

For the last 25 years, Judge Sockwell has been an attorney with the law firm of Boston, Holt, Sockwell and Durham in Lawrenceburg.
