Giles County public schools are closed again for Thursday, according to director of schools Philip Wright.

Also reports of people trapped in a vehicle in flood waters were received this afternoon by Giles Fire & Rescue. The call came in around 1:00 Wednesday on Factory Creek Road, just north of Wray Branch rd. Emergency crews were able to get them to safety.
