According to Giles County Road Superintendent Barry Hyatt the are roads in Giles County that are under water. The Giles County Road Crews have been out and all of those roads have High Water signs placed near the trouble spots.

Road Superintendent Hyatt reminds all motorists to be very careful and to pay attention to the weather and the road signs as the ground in Giles County is saturated, and there’s more rain on the way.

One simple rule to remember, turn around….don’t drown.

Also due to the threat of more rain, and the road conditions, all Giles County Public Schools are closed today.
