Kristina Young, age 33 of Lewisburg has been charged in connection with the homicide of Malcolm Garrett. Garrett was found deceased and burned in his residence located on 543 Second Avenue North in Lewisburg on February 7th. Garrett appeared to have been doused with an accelerant and set on fire which resulted in his death.
Young has been charged with Criminal Homicide, Aggravated Arson, and Especially Aggravated Robbery. Young is in custody at the Marshall County Jail. Bond was set at $310,000.
Young is the second person charged in this murder. Allyssa Hutt of Lewisburg was charged earlier with Criminal Homicide and Aggravated Robbery and is currently in custody at the Marshall County Detention Facility in Lewisburg. Bond was set at $310,000.
