The dangerous painkiller fentanyl was among the narcotics recovered Thursday in a Limestone County drug bust, which also yielded three arrests.

Limestone County Sheriff’s Office deputy and spokesman Stephen Young said oxycodone, crack cocaine, and marijuana were also seized at a home on Belmont Circle. The amount of fentanyl seized was about 2.2 grams.

More than $1,300 in cash and a Smith & Wesson pistol were also recovered.

Young said narcotics investigators had worked over the past month to develop the case, which led to a traffic stop at the intersection of Capshaw and East Limestone roads. The stop led to the execution of a search warrant at the Belmont Circle home.

Dammon Hardin, 30, was arrested on charges of drug trafficking (fentanyl), two counts possession of a controlled substance, possession of a pistol by a violent felon and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond had not been set on the trafficking charge.

The two others arrested were 62-year-old Larry Lee Jones and 32-year-old Darrius Spencer Hardin. Both men are being held in the Limestone County Jail with bond set at $2,500.
